Applications are invited from FEMALE CANDIDATES (only) for admission to 4 years B Sc. (Nursing) course commencing in 2018 at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services.

SELECTION
Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type written test of 90 minutes duration likely to be held in Feb 2018, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. Candidates as per merit on the basis of written test will be called for interview during May 2018. Final selection will be based on combined merit of written test & interview, subject to medical fitness. Admission to Colleges of Nursing will be offered in accordance with the merit cum choice subject to vacancy in each College.

Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated or widow without encumbrances
Nationality: Indian
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body.

Examination
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) forms the basis for admission to the following programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in Engineering, Science and Architecture in all the IITs:
- 4 - year Bachelors: B.Tech., B.S.
- 5 - year B.Arch.
- 5 - year Dual Degree: B.Tech. M.Tech., B.S. -M.S.
- 5 - year Integrated Masters: M.Tech., Msc. Dual Degree
The questions will be in both English and Hindi languages. The candidates will have the option to choose the preferred language during the examination. The JEE (Advanced) 2018 is organized by IIT Kanpur.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian Nationals (including PIO/OCI) must fulfill each of the following five criteria for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2018.
- Should be among the top 2,24000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2018.
- Should be born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.
- Should NOT have appeared in JEE (Advanced) in 2016 or earlier.
- Should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) board examination for the first time in 2017 or 2018.
- Should NOT have accepted admission at any of the IITs earlier.
Foreign Nationals must fulfill Eligibility Criteria 2, 3, 4 and 5, as mentioned above, for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2018.
Reservation
Reservations are provided to Indian Nationals belonging to certian categories in accordance with the rules of the Government of India and such candidates are declared as qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2018 based on relaxed norms.
ADMISSION
Candidates qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be eligible for admission to the mentioned academic programs at IITs subject to satisfying at least one of the following two criteria:- Must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board Examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
- Must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) Board Examination.

JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be held in selected cities and towns in India and in a few foreign countries. The candidates will give their preference for cities to write the examination at the time of registration.

- Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. More than one application i.e. Multiple applications from a candidate will be rejected.
- The name of the candidate and his/her parents name in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. No prefix/title such as Mr/ Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc should be used.

- The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).
